| Comments: | Yet another piece that suffers from practical implications. We had a workshop with Kroumata at the academy where we were supposed to write percussion music for children. I imagined a sort of "young persons guide to percussion" and wrote variantions on a swedish folksong for wood, skin and metal.
But the number of instruments used were enormous. I suggested that it could be used as an encore. A member of Kroumata said: "Then we have to ask the audience to come back in an hour." |
