| Comment: | The Violino Grande is a unique five-stringed bowed string instrument originally developed in Sweden during the 1960s. It was constructed by the chemist and instrument maker Hans Olof Hansson at the initiative of the Polish-Swedish violinist Bronisław Eichenholz. It combines the range of the viola with that of the violin.
The piece is dedicated to Duo Gelland.
